A meeting where Mike Rogers was exposed, warts and all

BlogBy Scott GriffithsAugust 31, 20177 Comments

A chilly morning produced a reasonable turnout of 20 members, which number could almost be increased to 21 as Paul Booth appeared via Skype during the 10 minute presentation from a deck chair somewhere in Tenerife (sad).  On many levels this meeting was exceptional.

A meeting that revealed more about the member’s television habits than was perhaps healthy

BlogBy Scott GriffithsAugust 25, 20176 Comments

A lively television-themed exchange with good business passed and as our numbers rise we are reminded that the holiday season is now nearly over.

In which Tina Walker told of supporting an old member and Alan Shaw of being harrassed

This weeks meeting was in the small room behind the restaurant at Mary Green Manor. It’s a bit of a squeeze but our proximity, one to another, does lead to an effective if not to say intimate meeting.

A meeting that featured Brussels Sprouts, the EU and splash backs…very eclectic

BlogBy Scott GriffithsAugust 11, 20178 Comments

It’s nice to see our members relaxing and taking holiday with or without their children, but it doesn’t half cut a swathe through our attendance figures.  There were, therefore, plenty of seats and lots to eat this morning as we had another excellent business networking breakfast.

A meeting with no stone left unturned and where your imagination was your only restriction…maybe

BlogBy Scott GriffithsJuly 28, 201710 Comments

Of the 24 Members present, 20 of us were in place and busy networking by 6.30 am.  The numbers were affected by holidays as they will undoubtedly carry on being affected for the next 6 weeks or so.

The Bard of Hadleigh is back and Alan Moller was declared short and sweet

Exactly as a good networking meeting should be. Lots of members, lots of business recorded and lots of new referral opportunities. All this and we even finished on time!

A Meeting of Cocktails and Discipline

BlogBy Scott GriffithsJuly 14, 201713 Comments

This week saw a real attempt to get the meeting finished by 8.30am. The 60 seconds discipline was responsible for this feat, fortunately almost blown by Jo Eastwood’s mesmerising 10 minutes of cocktail mixing.

Jo Eastwood gave us the “Ginny Hendricks experience” and Nikhil Shah mentioned Christmas

BlogBy Scott GriffithsJuly 7, 20177 Comments

Another well attended and entertaining business networking breakfast meeting. Lots of people wearing shorts and flip flops – must be the weather

Alan Shaw stunned us with his shirt and Scott Griffiths produced an electronic chum capable of destroying anyone’s sanity

BlogBy Scott GriffithsJune 30, 201713 Comments

With mentions of Elton John, Eltons Manager and his wife, plus Rod Stewart and a 60 seconds delivered by Google itself. An effective yes absurd meeting with lots of business passed.
