Great turnout- 22 Members and 2 visitors present, well done Stuart Smallcombe on being in the chairmain, a slightly nervous start soon vanished once you found your Mojo.
Education Presentation
David Plumley, our regular Education officer, delivered a presentation about “relationships” and the comparisons that we can draw between our own domestic relationships and how we apply things from these to our business relationships.
The 60 Second Round
Brian PainterĀ educated us of Charlie, a 22 year old “vision of loveliness” as he so put it and her feelings against fish, vegetables and fruit, no doubt a few sessions in that chair would put her on a diet Jo Jones would be proud of!
Saj SreedharanĀ boasted of 5 deliveries in an hour, he is also looking for an introduction to Aston Martin, as if he didn’t work fast enough as it is.
Alan ShawĀ must definitely take pride of place this week for The School of Whimsey, for the various Schemes and Planning Applications plus redoing something or other in Cuffley, we won’t ask!
Stuart SmallcombeĀ (from his dirty talk last week) cleaned it up a tad this week with talk of Internet speeds and how his Client went from being in the stone age to modern download speeds, what they really need is a bit of FTTP.
Mike Rogers hasĀ moved off the Green Cross Code now to explain “thoughts going through his head” namely 40 years of marriage or was it the 35 years of Mortgage Arrangements, please enlighten us all Mike on the comments section, ha ha.
Mason EdwardsĀ has a 13 year old client and is looking for 121’s……
Paul BoothĀ is looking for 2 new employees from a public practice background, no doubt to give him more practice at Pool after losing a game to Stuart.
This weekĀ Marcelle SaadĀ awarded the Oscar toĀ Matt BarryĀ who was visiting students at Havering College to give something back to the industry, or was it for the choice of footwear this week?, you decide.
This weeks statistics and points of note
- 22 members present
- 2 guests, both keen to come back next week and join
- £9000 of business recorded
- 20 new business opportunities shared around the room
10-minute presentation by Syd Barrett
This week we were subjected to the realms of Fire Risk Assessments. Syd delivered part of his presentation with an interesting video
showing how from a small electrical fault on some christmas tree lighting went on to engulf an entire lounge in 44 seconds…..bring on the referrals next week for bottles of dry powder extinguisher.
Syd expanded our knowledge with regards to the legislation (Regulatory Reform Order 2005) on Companies and common areas of Residential properties to conform, although this may be verbal in some instances, who would want to leave it to chance? He then went on to enlighten us with his available training packages covering Fire Safety and Warden Training.
Congratulations Syd on getting your first 10 minutes out of the way!
I would love to explain the thoughts in my head but most of the time they make no sense to me either. That said it was a very good meeting this week.
