I would like to stimulate the great scrambled egg debate. Breakfast was its usual good standard and the SE was outstanding, soft, slightly runny and a succulent joy to the palate. I know there are those who like it firm and crumbly…you have my pity!! Remember, you can respond to this in the space provided below.
The Ed Slot was all about the importance of attendance. For those of you not there….it was useful.
The 60 seconds was always verging on the vernacular. Joan Jaggernaught was on the letter L. For liberation of personal power which somehow was related to liberation of personal gas supplies. This had a certain synergy with Richard Smith looking to use his power flush and Kevin Radford looking for cleaners. Adrian Crosdale is back bringing a little light into our lives, and his return immediately prompted Nick Cooke to reveal that they have proper chandeliers at Cooke Towers. Well at least you now know how to clean them if the servants are ever taken ill Nick!!
Steve Carmichael Brown’s boast to turn sunshine into £s had to compete with the rain lashing down as he spoke but he put in a sterling performance with Kevin Radford in almost convincing us that an accountants life can be stimulating if you can only have a farmer as a client. Paul rightly was the runaway winner of the Oscar. My abiding memory was however Graham Thurston’s vain attempts to keep his hands out of his pockets. They lodged in his belt for 10 seconds only, until descending into their customary resting place…Brian, please be gentle with him next week!!!
On to business…. £15090.00 recorded this week and lots of referrals. Let’s see if we can make it a record month.
Eh bien, mes amis, I must now leave you for my holidays.
I wish you a prosperous meeting next week.
