Chairman’s Blog Thursday 2nd August 2018
The second summer holiday Thursday and we got a turnout of 24 members. A very good effort from those members not on holiday.
Our membership represents the very best of local business. Our vetting process is thorough; each member must come highly recommended, and remain so by delivering continually outstanding work for members, their contacts, clients and friends.

Multitasking abounded, Scott Griffiths not only dealt with his meeting secretary’s obligations but also delivered the Ed Slot. I, as Chairman, also stood in for David Plumley as Education and Development Officer in introducing both the Ed Slot and the 10 minute Presentation.
Singing members, floral displays, repeat visitors, good business passed and lots of new opportunities for new business. What more could you ask for from a business networking meeting?!
The first meeting of the year in which we realised the football wasn’t coming home. This had to be counter balanced with my coming home from holiday and also the realisation, jumping ahead to the 60 Second Round and at my suggestion, that not only were we all “networking” but we were all effectively “working overtime”.
Great turnout- 22 Members and 2 visitors present, well done Stuart Smallcombe on being in the chairmain, a slightly nervous start soon vanished once you found your Mojo.
Great turnout- 25 Members and a bright sunny day to lift everybody’s spirits. Stuart Smallcombe talked about “dirty IT” in his 10-minute presentation.
A good turnout of 22 Members initially huddled together in the meeting in the face of unseasonal wind and drizzly weather but it did not dampen the spirits and the sun got out later.
Another good turnout consistent with a bright light sunny morning.
