22 Members at this weeks business networking Zoomathon. New format tweaks now working nicely, and an all-round positive meeting.
New formats were tested today and positively received. 22 members present in a friendly and inspiring business networking meeting.
Todays meeting was all about the afternoon tea experience. Jane Malyon presented to us about her business and while some lucky members prepared scones, other got to smell-test some teas. We were all treated to Chocolate Brownies at the end!
Another theatrical education performance from “Booth & Smallks” on different referral types, plus an outstanding presentation from Mike Skinner demonstrating how he works creating video content of all kinds. Using audience participation he produced a short testimonial video for EBF.
5 guests again this week, 2 converted to new members with more considering the option. Paul Booth presented our “Referral Generator” prop in his education slot, and a group Q&A session provided an excellent platform for lots of new business referrals.
Vistors day at EBF today so a slightly adjusted agenda but otherwise typically high-energy meeting with lots of good business passed around the room. Hopefully, we’ll have some new members to welcome soon…
Sarah Steel educated us on not judging a book by its cover, and Paul Booth explained his accountancy business to us with particular attention given to his ability to save tax on things such as electric vehicles.
Terry Maylin explained how to maximise your 60-second presentations, and Stuart Smallcombe presented his communications business and explained the differences between WANs and LANs to the non technical. A vibrant and uplifting meeting.
This weeks blog guest written by the one and only Jane Malyon. Vincent Goode educated us all on referral keywords and an interesting and informative Questions and Answers session in place of our regular 10-minute presentation.
Colin delivered an Education presentation and Howard Bullock returned to delight members with a finance quiz.
