Our last meeting at Mary Green Manor was rewarded with 26 bodies present 24 Members and 2 visitors, Alexandra Maher and Anna Cooper. With a full room the meeting positively throbbed, it’s nice to finish on a high note.
Education Presentation
David Plumley’s theme was the value of existing clients. A lot of time is spent finding clients including the time we enjoyably spend together at EBF and it is important that we give our clients a sufficiently good service to ensure we do not lose. It is easier to keep a client and involves less time spent than recruiting a new one.
The 60 Second Round
Jo Eastwood kicked off and showcased her Christmas Gifts presentations of 6 bottle, 2 bottles and I understand a hamper. I thought she said a hamster but a hamper would probably make more sense.
Marcelle Saad also spoke of Christmas, the availability of rings bracelets and pendants etc to charm our loved ones.
First up of the Whimseys was Alan Shaw; it was all to do with rights of light, a property worth 1.6million was next door to one that was presumably wasn’t worth as much. One of them had planning permission and built with the benefit of that planning permission but there were rights of light that the other property had. Sorry guys that’s the best I can do.
Serena Armond rose to demonstrate the various types of wood that she uses on her kitchen doors. Oohs and Aaahs.
John Freeman has been in touch with his Osteopath but it looks like John is doing something for him rather than the Osteopath dealing with something on John’s back. Talking of backs, Jo Jones talked about legs and an exercise that we all can do. As I could not see what it was she did, I for one cannot do it.
A sympathy vote goes this week to Stuart Smallcombe who is not only suffering from man flu but brought the props along to prove it namely sachets of Lemsip etc.
According to Richard Reed, don’t have that Winter break before Christmas, save it until the New Year because the demise of Monarch has badly affected the cost of air fares which should have worked itself through the system by the New Year.
Howard Bullock is looking for a divorcee, well actually someone who is being divorced. There is lots of advice he can give regarding amongst other things pensions and life insurance as the matrimonial assets are split up.
The third person to mention Christmas was Tina Walker. She will keep your communications going whilst you enjoy your Christmas break.
David Plumley supplies and supports in relation to computers. Anything else that he said that was incomprehensible, don’t worry, just hang on to that basic thought,
Alan Moller has discovered smoke alarms that talk to each other…what else can I say. Modesty restrains me from telling you about the interesting ditty that I wrote and performed, suffice it to say Howard Bullock, exercising his customary good judgment, gave me the Oscar.
This weeks statistics and points of note

- 22 Referrals

10 minute presentation by Howard Bullock
Howard Bullock gave us a slide show and a video to illustrate how his clients might react to advice. The video was about people dancing. I was slightly puzzled that there were no hand bags to dance round but that is probably from another era.
Howard, whatever his material, always demonstrates his supreme competence in the advice that he gives. Go out and find him some clients!
An excellent meeting to say farewell to Marygreen – looking forward to the new venue.
Howard 10 minutes was really interesting and a lot of what he said about customer decision making process relates to most of our business . It something that i will be looking at when I am making presentations to clients
Well done Howard and The Bard of Hockley. Nice to see the visitors. Great last meeting at MGM. Looking forward to the new venue.

Mary Green is dead……………….Long live Calcott Farm. However, we did go out with a good meeting. Nice to be on the glamour table!
Great way to end our time at Mary Green Manor – but looking forward to our new light and airy venue. Well done Howard a truly professional 10 minutes, as we expect from a professional such as you!
Fun meeting everyone, well done H for the 10 minutes, loved the Herd Mentality… have a good weekend and see you all next week down at the Farm.
Upwards and Onwards, fantastic finally at mgm, looking forward to the funny farm 😉 great 10minutes from Howard and herding, and always a pleasure to see new faces, AND we now know where we are going for xmas get together too, PLUS, the option of an additional xmas get together, great stuff, see you all next week gang 😊
A great meeting. Marygreen Manor has been fantastic, but I feel very positive about being on The Farm! I’ll be glad to support a local business through our Thursday morning meetings. I’m afraid Rich is working away mid-week for the next 2 weeks which means I’ll not be at the meeting until early December. Miss you all! See you soon!
