Chairman’s Blog – Tuesday 18th June 2013
12 in attendance including guests. A good meeting as the group develops. Adam Hotson remains in the lead in the Performance League and Brian Painter delivered the Education Slot which dealt with techniques in attracting and inviting guests which theme was usefully continued in discussions after the meeting.
The 60 second round. One common characteristic was a willingness of contributors to come out to clients. Jim Henshaw, Adam Hotson and Anne Clarke all offer this service and so will I. Nigel Kirby of course does. How else can he fix your plumbing. He also brought along one of his pieces of equipment to illustrate his 60 seconds, namely a gas leak detector which lights up and buzzes at the same time. Tina Walker proved to be the unlucky guinea pig.
Brian Painter told of a lady who couldn’t tell her parents that she was engaged and then lost her engagement ring. The power of hypnotherapy did the trick and this elicited a genteel “Golly Gosh”
Anne Clarke delivered a very good 10 minutes and was well supported by other members of Redwood Clarke. A very competent performance.
The referrals round produced several referrals which was very encouraging.
Fortunately I now depart on holiday but please add your comments to this blog and I will see you all in two weeks time.
