It was our eighth Birthday celebration and given the absences for half-term the attendance was excellent with 24 Members and 3 Visitors, one of whom is to become a Member.
Our Valentines Day meeting had a 60 second round suitably themed and it contained both lovers joy and lovers lament. The joy is that it was a beautiful morning and there was a good turnout, 26 members and one visitor.
If last week was dull miserable and wet; by contrast but in equal measure this week was windy, 60mph gusts were recorded and the QE2 Bridge was closed. No such closing for EBF, infact we had an excellent turnout of 26 members and 3 visitors
On the coldest night/morning of the year it was minus 5 degrees when I set off for home. No brass monkey in attendance but it was cold enough. Despite the adverse conditions, 21 brave souls were in attendance with one visitor.
David Plumley was back after his holiday break and it was very very cold, -4.5c when I scraped my windscreen at 5.30.am. EBF are however of sterner stuff and there were 21 members present and one visitor.
A proper Winter’s meeting. It started off dark, remained dark for most of the meeting, became dull and…and then the snow came down. 21 Members present and a visitor whose calling is to coach both dogs and people!
The first meeting of the New Year and a very good meeting it was. 23 Members present and one visitor from the Wildlife Trust. Talk of New Years Resolutions was everywhere…
A new member inducted, guests keen to come back for more and another new member application to consider from a previous guest. We must be doing something right at these networking meetings?
An entertaining meeting where Ben Golding delivered an excellent presentation and quiz, and then awarded a fluffy pink pig to Terry Maylin! Good business and good fun as always.
